Meet The Staff

Hello! I am the office manager for our practice and I get to greet some very wonderful patients! I have worked in the dental profession since 1984. I worked as a dental assistant in Rapid City and in Sioux Falls before we moved to Fargo in 1993. My primary office duties are getting you scheduled for your treatment and care, helping the office run smoothly, and handling the insurance. At times patients need an advocate with their insurance and that’s me. It is a joy to work here because I know our patients are being treated with up-to-date technologies by honest, caring people. We truly have our patients’ best interest at heart.

I have one nearly grown up son, Lane, who I love spending time with. Fishing, reading and water color painting are some of my interests.

I grew up in western ND which has been a great plus to our pheasant hunting boss. I started in the dental profession in 1979. We moved to Fargo, where I worked in education and periodontics prior to being employed at this office.

I enjoy developing a one on one relationship with patients and seeing a patient excited by an improvement in their oral health. We have an office where patients will feel comfortable and we are sensitive to their needs and fears. You will always be greeted with a smile. I am married and have two children. I am an active member and past president of the ND Dental Hygienist’s Association and I enjoy reading, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Hi! I am Valerie, a dental hygienist for Dr. Ristvedt. Over the seventeen years I’ve worked here I have gotten to really know and enjoy some wonderful patients. We have a professional and compassionate office and I am part of an experienced and professional team. I also teach dental hygiene at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead.

I am married and have a son and a daughter, two yellow Labrador retrievers and a cat. My family keeps me very busy which suits me very well.

Welcome to our practice! I am a certified registered dental assistant. I’ve heard all his jokes more than once. I get to visit with friends and neighbors while providing quality dental treatment. We make sure every person who sits in our chair is comfortable and happy.

We will take the time to be sure that each patients is comfortable and happy with the outcome of their treatment. We want patients to have the best experience possible. My husband and I have two adult children. We both thoroughly enjoyed attending many athletic events involving those two.
